Not sure whether you get this or not, but your not a main stream journalist. This blog isn't even close to exciting as "Clifford the Big Red Dog goes to school" that i read with my grade 1 boy yesterday. Cutting and pasting comments from every newspaper then writing comments about the flames "working on plays" will not cut it in hockeybuzz. For gods sake create some buzz. Who is likely to be traded first. Iggy or Kippper? You think they are playing "better than expected"? Did you not write a blog about making the playoffs? How is two losses better than expected? Your at home for 5 games including Van and Edm you have lost the first two. At what point are you going to write something that is worthy of hockeybuzz columnists. Make something up, say something that will draw hits, bash the Oilers, bash Vancouver. This blog is an epic fail, with no information whatsoever. Can't believe I actually read it. At least yesterday I had an excuse to read Clifford the big Red Dog

Hopefully you were more than aware, that I am not, nor have ever claimed to be.

Sorry I have let you down. Next time I will include pictures of dogs and discuss trading Iginla and Kipper for the upteenth time for the sake of hits. Most fans are sick of reading that their team will "blow things up" and they MUST trade their captain or else misery will ensue.

Well, if you haven't been following...Feaster is not going to sit back and tear things down. He is going to continue to strengthen his team. When if the team shows no promise of playoffs this year, that is when we will discuss the possibilty of moving players of value...not two games in.

To ensure I dont upset you down the road, I will also follow suit where all that will be written are pot shots and "make believe" scenarios to appease people like yourself.

Consider the amount of games that are being played in such short time, considering what has happened so far and what the team is looking to do right now...there is nothing more to discuss than how the team is playing and how they can improve. The Flames are still working out their kinks and hoping to get something going before its too late.

Most expected this team to faulter right out of the gates, be a slow paced team and not score. Well, as I said, they have played to my expectations as per the previous blogs Ive written. They are showing promise and the players who were in question are showing strides in their confidence levels and ability to create plays which they were not previously able to do.

If you are not "excited" or "content" with my blogs...then don't read/or comment...no ones forcing you, but thanks for the hit!

And its "you're"....but it's ok, thats a mainstream journalist thing.

Good blog Colin....don't let the idiot trolls get to you.

The Flames showed more last night but two things that just aren't going to go away are the lack of size and poor faceoffs. I'm not sure whether to cheer for or against this team !

That Colin is painfully obvious.

Sorry I have let you down. Next time I will include pictures of dogs and discuss trading Iginla and Kipper for the upteenth time for the sake of hits. Most fans are sick of reading that their team will "blow things up" and they MUST trade their captain or else misery will ensue.

Maybe if so many people are reading about it... it means that maybe it should happen which would indicate as a Flames blogger you may want to touch on it.

Well, if you haven't been following...Feaster is not going to sit back and tear things down. He is going to continue to strengthen his team. When if the team shows no promise of playoffs this year, that is when we will discuss the possibilty of moving players of value...not two games in.

He is going to stengthen his team.... great job so far. 0-2

To ensure I dont upset you down the road, I will also follow suit with other bloggers where all that will be written are pot shots and "make believe" scenarios to appease people like yourself.

This is hockeybuzz, people come here to read rumours

Consider the amount of games that are being played in such short time, considering what has happened so far and what the team is looking to do right now...there is nothing more to discuss than how the team is playing and how they can improve. The Flames are still working out their kinks and hoping to get something going before its too late.

Every team is playing a condensed schedule. Every team will have injuries. This is not an excuse, nor will any fans of any team allow their players, coaches, or managment use this as an excuse

Most expected this team to faulter right out of the gates, be a slow paced team and not score. Well, as I said, they have played to my expectations as per the previous blogs Ive written. Classic... when there / their is nothing else to say slam grammer.

Give you credit though. If you wrote a blog with half the passion that you replied to me with, more people would read.

So what? You want Colin to make stuff up just to create BUZZ....You want to discuss trading Iggy and Kipper? Dear god man.....clearly you are not a Flames fan because that's the last thing we want to talk about. There's more to this team than Iggy and Kipper and I've heard idiots spew crap about those guys for 5 years straight, enough is enough.

You're nothing but a troll...you don't watch the games, or care about the team. So beat it pal. Stick to childrens' books.

Problem is, sir, I have already discussed all the above throughout my previous blogs. You can only be so repetitive. As there is nothing new to discuss since yesterday's blog, I provided my thoughts on last nights game. My goal is to provide a blog every day for my readers...I am not going to take the route of making things up merely for the sake of hits. Sorry.

Seems to me the biggest problem is just clearing the puck out of the crease area....so many goals against them this year have been from pucks just laying around. The D need to do a better job of clearing the puck and forwards need to get back and help. Also Kipper needs to be sure to steer the shots away to the corners. It's the smallest thing but it's cost them 2 games IMO.

With the exception of some breakdowns I think the team did pretty well up against two very good teams with returning systems. I like our speed and skill this year. I'm concerned that we are missing some size. We get moved off the puck too easily and pushed out of defensive positions in our own end.

Funny how the turning point in the game IMO was the horrible call on Tangs. I was yelling at the TV pretty good on that one. The team seemed to rally around it.

So far I like what I see behind the bench. It's nice to see some positive reinforcement. Nobody likes to just be scowled at.

Moral vicotories wont get you into the playoffs though so they have to figure out how to correct these mistakes. From what I understand Cervenka is a pretty big guy, not sure if he plays like it though. He might help with the size problem.

Yeah Cervenka is more of a skilled player from what i've seen on YouTube. But at least he's a natural center which should help ease the depth problems down the middle.

Comeau is pathetic out there, I hope he's the one that sits when Hudler gets back.

Perhaps you should be reading Cloutier. He is all about what you are wanting- make believe, trash talk... you know, things that classless, trailer dwelling folk like yourself appreciate. Have a nice day.

Nice write up. And as usual starts up some good conversations about the team.

I can get my make beleive fix from the Edmonton blogs and the trade speculations from all the Vancouver blogs.

At least this troll didn't rant about the flames being old and not having prospects. So that was new(and up to date). Troll gets a cookie for that.

Cripes, they need a new doc.

With Hudler and cervenka in the mix, who would sit?

I guess it's horak and stajan. Would like to say coumeau but keep stajan or horak on the 4th line isn't a good fit.
